Oh Ella, how big you are already. You're learning to reach for things better and learning to use your action to describe what you want. You still are the drooly face baby you were two months ago. Soon you'll be growing your two bottom teeth! Mommy can't wait to see how cute you are with those bottom teeth. This is probably the longest stage you've been in and I sense that it'll only continue to slow down which a good thing. You got big so quick that it's even hard to imagine how small you were just 5 months ago. Looking forward to more.

Love Mommy.

Your first Vikings game.

Your first Vikings game didn't turn out so great. The noise wasn't as constant as we thought it would be so you kept startling every time the stadium would go into an uproar. Right then, I wanted to leave as soon as we could but it seemed like everyone else was enjoying it too much. You eventually went to sleep after the first half while both my hands were over your ears to prevent you from waking up and having startles. We finally left at the end of the third quarter. I've never been so happy to leave a Vikings game in my life.

My Ella

Ella Sengthah Xayavong
Due date: April 17, 2011
Born: April 17, 2011, at 12:07 a.m.
Weight: 6lb 15oz
Length: 21in

With seven minutes of pushing, there you were with a full head of black hair in my lap, crying and screaming while tears rolled down my cheek. At that moment, nothing else mattered, you were beautiful and perfect just like how I imagined it.

 Milestones:
First laugh what at about 3 months First diaper rash 2 weeks Rolling over 4 months First taste of solid food, 4 months First shots, 2 months and you did so good How many times you've slept overnight in your crib so far: 1 (because mommy misses you too much.)

Today:
Today you are 4 months and 3 weeks. You can sit up in your bumbo and lean back and look around. You love putting things in your mouth like both fists at the same time. You are so alert, you can hear things and turn to it right away. You recognize and can almost hold your own bottle. You are ticklish and laugh so hard that sometimes you get hiccups from it. You just had your four month check up and got more shots but again, you did so good. You love seeing new stranger faces that you light up whenever you see them. You love looking at your own reflection. You are the sweetest little girl any mom could ask for.

Just a few days ago we took you to the MN State fair. We took you up on the Space Needle looking ride and got a beautiful view of the grounds of the State fair. Though you were oblivious to it all, it seemed like you almost enjoyed it as much as your daddy and I did. We were at the fair for nearly 7 hours but you did so good. Oh how you hated your car seat!

 I love you,

 Mommy

P.S. Today your dad or I will be picking you up from grandma's and taking you to see your first Vikings game!
