Ella at 3 years old.

Ella, you are so grown now. Ever since you were little you were always our fast learner. You are so observant and pick up things so fast that we have to be careful what to do or say around you. Your memory is impeccable. It's amazing that you can remember things a year ago and remember words that you only hear once or twice and associate them with the correct events. Recently I mentioned Valentines and you knew exactly what it was. You can very random about certain things but those random things always amaze me how smart you are. Not only are you smart, you are mommy's special helper. You love working with mommy side by side in the kitchen and always enthusiastic about what to do next. Even though I may not always have something for you to do, you are always standing by. I love that you are caring and you will do anything for your brothers. I know it's difficult to share with them and it's hard to not want the things that they want, but I know you will eventually learn to be patient and let them have it because you are the older sibling. I know you are getting better with that because in childcare at the gym, you mentioned sharing with the other kids and taking turns.

The other week we went to do your early educational screening, you were so excited. I knew you would do an awesome job because you pick up things so fast. After everything, you did as well as I thought you would-a 21/16 which was excellent.

I look forward to teaching you more and educating you so that you are always looking forward to learning new things and that you never get bored of life.
